It’s pronounced Beaver Castle. I shot a wedding there once and the old guy who was managing it was horrible to me. When it was the wedding breakfast, the couple had paid for a meal for me. When I asked to have it in a quiet area so I could stay near for when the speeches were about to start, and so I could plug my laptop in and make a preview gallery, the old man shouted at me “YOU WILL HAVE YOUR DINNER IN THE BASEMENT WITH THE REST OF THR STAFF!!!” and proceeded to treat me like I was a scrounging bottom-feeder. So I went to the bar which was next to him and ordered a pint of Pepsi. I walked back to him and said “I’m a customer now” and sat my stuff down by the piano, before telling him he could stick his vendor meal and I went out in the car and got a hot baguette and trimmings from a local pub. I took it back with me and sat where I wanted and ate it while I worked. This was in May 2013.
