I fiddle around with all the different cars, but when I want to get serious and feel comfortable, I always jump into the Formula V10 Gen 2 car. It's my absolute go-to! I'm also really starting to enjoy the 2022 Toyota Stock Car.

Nice selection of cars! A lot of formula open wheel cars though, but they all are great indeed. I personally have a weak spot for the Rocco in AMS2.

I recommend the lmp2 spike car, I used it and ngl that car+ Long Beach is amazing

M1 ProCar is worth trying, it's a great one, lots of fun at Long Beach. Group C at Nordschleife is a fun one, too. Or historic Kylami!

I'm using 1.6 right now. I've actually stopped using the latest customer release as 1.6 is just really good. I tried all the cars listed in quali and races and in no particular order the Formula Junior, the High Tech and the Mini are the best for me. The Porsche 911 RS74 gets an honourable mention.

Thanks for the video, some cars I need to try here! I know you use the HP Reverb which is suerior to my Quest 3 but those graphics in VR look much better than mine. Also the monitor graphics too and I have a RTX4090 +64GB RAM + top end Intel so would love to know your settings.

Do u use virtual desktop? If so, make sure u set the resultion to ultra/godlike, it should look ultra crisp on Quest3 Edit: it allows you to use the AV1 codec as well which looks much better

with your Rtx4090 you should buy the Pimax Crystal Light, it is a big improvement compared to Reverb G2 !

Great choices! I wonder how you get these TV view of the cars. I am also in VR and none of my outside cameras bring me a view. Isn’t there a bug in AMS 2 with looking at the cars from outside?

@christianhofmann7182 I use the replay from a single race, I just turn off the ai. So only in a race you can get the full replay, and from there, you can switch cameras. The replay function is in the main menu, I ts the picture of a video camera.

@andrewdavies7575 That's a new one! Have you tried clean install of ams2? When you uninstall, make sure to delete the folder after.

Great video. Would really enjoy the same thing again but for modded cars, and perhaps another for modded tracks. As someone new to ASMR2 I don't know how to judge the quality of mod content without a lot of trial and error.
