And there is another problem. Watch both gauges for the turbo pressure on the left side. They are not showing same values. He was not sure is it a problem with the gauges or the engine. I installed the camera in this car 3 years ago.

motorsportvideo Ah ok, I didn't notice that. Looking at it now and I see what you mean. After the Esses the gauges seem to live separate lives most of the time. But he still has massive amounts of power, when you see him passing other cars on acceleration. Just Incredible :)

yup, could be that and also he is probably hydroplaning absolutely everywhere, combination of the conditions, power and the fact that the car is about 3” off the ground which is lower than some of the puddles

Wow! Ive heard stories about the brutal power from 935/78. Watching this superb video I see they are true not fiction. You can hear the wheel spin out from corners. Superb and thank you for a good quality video

Does he have to use the clutch? I thought this was a 4 speed dogbox which does not require the clutch to shift up or down as long as you rev match

😣 what…? This question doesn’t even make sense considering you need a clutch to “rev match” plus the video CLEARLY shows him clutching bro.. so yes.. he’s clutching 😂

@@bossboyritchno1685 Yes I see that he is clutching, my question was if he had to since I thought a dogbox doesn't need to be clutched. You can in some transmissions get away with not using the clutch on up and downshifts and I thought this was one of them, but not sure

A dog box is almost always just meaning dog engagement first gear… however boxes with no synchromesh and use dog rings that can be clutchless shift that is also called a dog box 👍

I’m not sure on this car but the group C sauber Mercedes c11 had a clutchless shift.. you have to use the clutch for first gear but after that it’s clutchless..

Colin McRae had a clutchless shift manual on both Impreza’s too.. a clutch only for 1st.. great gearboxes! It uses dogs instead of synchromesh and is also referred to as a dog box
