shift+alt should create a circle from center , same with resize

Good tutorial, thanks. If you want to scale from the center point in PS hold down shift and alt while scaling and it'll keep the center point. Curious, do you only use PS for the package drawings? I find Illustrator is way more intuitive for it with vectors, line weight, dashed lines, layers, setting angles, modifying etc... cheers.

Someone else has also asked for the psd file. I will try getting round to sorting something out soon. The grid is pretty basic, just some lines and text, and the mannequins. The background is a gradient . To be honest your grid should be specific to the car your designing so you would have to do/ modify the grid anyway, so may aswell create your own. I will happily share the mannequins but I have done everything else to suit my design. In terms of providing reference that's why I created the tutorial. Set pen tool to shape then use pen tool to create a line. Then copy paste that layer to create the grid. It's really simple. I'll definitely sort out the mannequins for people to use
