Automotive Photography with Larry Chen

If a picture is worth a thousand words, Larry Chen has got a lot to say.
Larry has been a powerhouse in the world of automotive photography for two decades now, capturing everything from Formula Drift to personal builds, working with the Hoonigans on the sets of Gymkhana all around the world, and photographing the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb at 14,000 feet. As a member of Speedhunters, Larry channels his passion for cars into photos and stories that bring people the spirit of automotive culture.

I've been lucky enough to catch Larry at FD Long Beach this year and he moves quick but still has the most personable attitude out of anyone I have met moving THAT FAST in a workplace. Unbelievable worker and the ultimate passion for his career.

Before I got my Nikon D3300 in late October of 2017, Larry was already my photography hero. Now he’s my photography father, most of my favorite pictures are from Larry. I really wish I could have a job like his, imagine being paid to go to drift events and take awesome pictures of awesome cars with awesome people for an Speedhunters and Hoonigan.
