Then you have the forester and crosstrek, also great cars. The legacy, the WRX and WRX wagon (not sold in the US). I have owned subarus, they are realiable, fun and quite easy to work on. Also, a basic 1.6 liter old impreza will take you anywhere. Still consider it A tier because they make some dumb choices, a forester turbo should still be sold. C Tier: Mazda - the Miata is the only car that stops them from being in D Tier. Fiat - they have a small present which make it hard to see how exciting they may be. Chevy - uhh? idk😅 Acura - Honda is better so why not just get that? Mercedes Benz - unless you buy an AMG or performance model, it's not worth it. B Tier: Ford - most of their lineup is boring but they still make cars that we (car people) can enjoy. Nissan - 400Z needs to attract their fans because they've already milked the 370Z and GT-R for too long. Dodge - bought to act crazy and childish on the road. Audi - good all around but the design are a bit boring. Lexus - they're pushing for EVs but they're innovative. A Tier: Volvo - great cars if you can afford them. Volkswagen - nice cars with a huge community. BMW - amazing cars with reasonable prices. Toyota - all their cars are great and everybody on this planet knows that. S Tier: Suzuki - small reliable cars that are common everywhere but the USA. Porsche - they have the best cars but too expensive for most people. Honda - the si and type R are reliable, fun, and affordable. they can be good at anything you want them to be.

I want to add on to the Acura thing. I was at the Chicago Auto Show, and I can tell you for a fact that the new NSX is pretty forgettable because when they had it next to the new Integra, I genuinely didn't realize it was the new NSX. I thought they just put 2 Integras there. I only realized it was the NSX when I saw it was mid/rear engine

As the fortunate owner of a 2021 Mazda6 Signature I am dismayed, no.. I'm irked that you would sully the good name (say with a Stewie accent) Earlier this year I traded a 2020 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SV 4X4 for the Mazda6. Trucks are fun but just not that practical of a daily for the average person. I dont haul lumber or gravel, I dont own a towable boat anymore, I dont need the constant aggravation of parking and jumping (literally) into and out of a truck. Im an old man, I want something thats still fun but also practical and super comfy. Not to mention: time tested 2.5L turbo, a real torque converting transmission, Nappa leather(!), lots of tech but not complicated, and an actual spare tire. Thats a rare thing these days. You cant beat the '21 Mazda6 Signature for the money, and I believe it'll hold its value well being the final year.

If you're looking for a homie hauler and half of your friend group is over 6ft audi is A tier. That little thigh extension for the front seats plus the bang n olfsen speakers are just chefs kiss. But for regular enthusiasts I respect the B tier rating

Big agree, I drive a A3 diesel wagon and it's the only car among my friend group that can comfortably seat the tallest guy (he's like 6'3 or so). The MPG is amazing but the acceleration leaves me wanting more sometimes

The Mitsubishi Outlander in my opinion is an S tier SUV. Both the exterior and the interior are amazing, especially in second generation outlanders. Also, the Mitsubishi L200 is an S tier pick up truck. It’s practical, fast, extremely, EXTREMELY reliable and it doesn’t have an asshole level giant front.

He explained why, and as someone who has owned both, I agree. Theyre way too expensive for what youre getting. BMW has more aftermarket support, they are less troublesome when doing maintenance, and though they are expensive as well, they are not as expensive to work on as Merc. Also, BMW makes cars for enthusiast. Mercedes makes cars for executives and occassionally gets purchased by someone who is an enthusiast. BMW is the drivers car. Merc is a lot like Audi. When I think of either of those brands I think of boring black suits, expensive watches, and Lewis Hamilton (which outside of the suits isnt a bad thing), but when I think of BMW, I think of cruising with the guys, hanging out having a good time, drifting, doing donuts, GT racing, and Jeremy Clarkson yelling "powweeerrrr". Im not sure why, but those brands just evoke very different images in the mind 🤷🏾♂️

BMW A tier and Mercedes C tier is straight bias One could argue that BMW is worse with the newest fat M5 or the useless XM and the ugly ass X2/X3, so two tiers above Mercedes is only down to bias

Other than the wrangler, jeep doesn't have much going for it other than the track hawk. And the only thing the wrangler has going for it is the amount of customizability.

As a Honda guy I approve (though I am sad about the loss of the Accord 2.0T). Mazda (and Volvo) both make such great cars, but ever since Mazda killed off the 6 and Volvo killed off the S60, their lineups are just too SUV for me. I've always been fond of Audis. I know a lot of people want more "emotion" from their car, but as someone who is 110% Type A personality, I dunno, their understated and very "mathematical" approach to driving resonates with me. Some of the most timeless vehicles made are from Audi.
