just fyi device prep currently does not officially support co-management (ie. hybrid with SCCM)

One big flaw is that you can't set device name

27:04 We have "allow users to skip setup enabled", sometimes app installations never finish for whatever reason, happens a lot with store apps and sometimes with office itself, then the user is stuck in setup that never completes. These issues are more randomly.

I've been using Autopilot V1 in our environment for a year and a half now, and I can't see the benefits of transitioning to V2. I want to make sure that the device is part of our tenant before the user unpack the device and sign in. V2 doesn't allow me to do that so I'll stick with V1 and hope it continues to evolve.

Remember with the feature of "all target devices convert to Autopilot" they have to already be managed devices and they have to be company-owned. This can throw a monkey wrench in the logic for leveraging the options. I've had lots of clients ask about this new V2 and I still don't see the value in it. It's easier to run the scripts to bulk import HWID's in Intune and use regular Autopilot and sell the clients because it locks down the device to the tenant and acts like an additional security feature or deterrent for theft of company equipment.

Kinda weird that you always look directly onto the camera. You don't need to do that.
