I got a question I did duplicated a key for a crv but it won’t turn the ignition but the original it does turn it but I have the same bite

Sometimes when the clamp is over tight it goes crooked at end tip of the blade. It goes sideways. That makes it not turn the ignition cylinder .

Nice video, remove the nuts and just use the black handles that came with the machine I had issues with that part of the sitting up until I figured that out

I have a similar Honda key. Where I can cut the duplicate? I stopped at HD, they said they don't do Honda keys. I just need to cut, no programming is needed.

Ace hardware do cut and program. Or find a local local most around or look on Facebook marketplace

So it won’t sit too low. If it sits too low, the top layer gets flat/flush on the holder. It will cut the holder.

Wish you could have shown setting the machine up, I think you have to do a few tweaks to it before using it

I barely use this manual machine now but once in a while I use it . The most critical part is to set the level tip of the both cutter and the other tip level. Maybe I’ll make a quick video how I do it

@@autopurlieu I was able to make two house key :). Tried to make HU100 key for Chevy Cruz ( laser cut), wasn’t successful full. Felt like the bit was worn down. Cuts were not smooth. I’ve only done about 10 keys on this bit, how long do they last? Thx
