I definitely believe in replacing all of the low quality plastic parts with an aluminum/metal upgrade and OEM rubber hoses with the high quality silicone ones (if available) is a must to increase reliability to make BMW ownership easy as possible.

My engine maintains temp at 110 degrees when it should maintaining about 100. The hood gets hott you can’t keep your hand on it for more than 5 seconds. No coolant seems to be leaking, water pump is fully working. 2011 328i x drive

So what does it mean if you drive the car around and it doesn’t overheat while driving it regardless of how long you drive it but when you park it it overheats takes a full eight hours for it to cool down before it will start again also while it’s in this modethere is a clicking sound from a relay out under the hood you take the relay out the temperature gauge on the car goes down to normal, but the car will not start without the relay. Have you ever experienced this?

please help: i just recently bought my bmw 328i 2011 new to the bmw community lol, just replaced radiator, all coolant hoses, bled the system and after driving maybe a mile or so the over heat warning light (yellow !) comes on and slows down to a stop is there something else i misses thanks in advance btw love ur videos watch them all the time

I 2008 750i and fans stuck on high if motor is running and since that started it wont cold start ive replaced water temp sensor and water pump sensor no fix , now im putting in new thermostat with sensor and hope that does it , do u think im gonna fix it or is it something elese like module?or fuse?

Need help. 07 z4 sporadically overheats. After shutting engine off, setting for no more than a minute, the gauge returns to normal when ignition is turned on. Car will be fine for a while then does this again. We recently (500 miles ago) replaced the entire coolant system. Did all the proper bleeding. Replaced both coolant sensors... Car still does this. Is this a symptom of a sticking thermostat? Thanks...

So my bmw 2006 325i was leaking from overflow cap I changed the thermostat then 3 days later the same thing it leaked out from overflow cap then I changed the the water pump and currently it’s driving drove it this morning I’m really nervous is there some else wrong with it ? Please help

I had this problem, it was an electrical shortage in my wires in my trunk (the side where the battery is located). I had open wires touching each other… I separated them and duck taped each one that was split

Which battery terminal do you take off first? Positive or Negative?

U only need to take off one, and that one u take off is negative. If u need to replace the battery than just take off negative first, and reconnect it last. Also when working on a car, make sure that the negative wire couldn’t be knocked back onto the battery terminal. And everyone has a different opinion, but I like to wait atleast 10 mins after disconnecting the battery before I start on my car, just to ensure there is no electricity left running around.

When you start the car, will the radiator fan turn on immediately or only until the engine reaches a certain hot temperature, My F10 fan sometimes turns on immediately when the engine starts, even when the temperature gauge is at minimum temp. Thanks

@@Moneybagz3_ sent to Autobavaria for diagnosis. They “suspected” the water pump was faulty. So, to avoid further serious problem, I gambled and changed the water pump, a half day job. Problem solved, until today engine is working fine. Temperature gauge reading is where it should be. Cost me RM2,200 at a workshop in USJ (not BMW authorised).

Hey there guys, i have a problem on my bmw 528i 2013, it vibrates before warmed to temperature of 190-200F. For some reason my rpm is around 800 before car warms up, but if i turn off the heater the car is alright. How it can be fixed?

That’s normal. All cars have increased rpm at idle when first starting the car. This is more common in winter times. But it’s so the engine oil warms up faster and doesn’t damage the engine. The vibration could be caused by a faulty IAC motor that is malfunctioning. Your air intake is probably has a build up of dirt or something. Hope this helps

@@smurf_chicago6555 air bubbles in coolant system put key fob in ignition, press and hold gas for 10 seconds roughly and you will hear the water pump come on and that is bleeding the entire coolant system of air bubbles, hope this helps
