Changed both my rears shocks this weekend thanks to your video, thank you. Great video and made my job cost $120 instead of $450 at dealer. It took about 25 minutes per side and way worth it.

hi, is the OEM shock return operation pneumatic or hydraulic? Mine has no oil leaks but it comes back up very slowly.

Why this guy sound like the French car racer from talladega nights? 😂 Nice video though. This is exactly what I was looking for.

What is the blue liquid stuff your are putting on the top bolts ? TIA
@billysanders66411 ай бұрын
If you are wondering the torque specs are 18lb for the top mount bolts and 80 for the bottom. Or as torque was explained to me... half a turn past snug for the top, and 1 grunting turn after it feels tight on the bottom one.

Hi chris I have learn a lot from you guys . My ford have a knocking sound but i cant tell if its the bearings or the struts How can i tell the difference?
@fishcatbunnypig3 жыл бұрын
I recommend bringing it to a Ford car dealership for an estimate, so they can tell you what they would do. Then you can decide whether you want to do it yourself.

Where is that rear bumper from?🤷♂️
@fishcatbunnypig3 жыл бұрын
You didn't show how to loosen the bolt holding the shock to the assembly. That is actually the most difficult part of this otherwise easy operation and is covered by the woman from the A1 Auto video. Should add this to your video for completeness.
