I've always loved the Honda CR-V but one thing I could never understand is why Honda took the beautiful 2.4L engine out and replaced it with a 1.5L turbo. In my own personal opinion I think it's a step backwards.

Great review! 1.5ltr turbo engine that doesn't match the vehicle size which revs hard up to the red line everytime when pushed even in moderate driving conditions let alone over taking on the open highways can be a challenge. No 2 ltr option.

It depends on where you live. In NA you don't get the sunroof and ports are limited/reduced.

I got a Honda CRV 2018 and travel just over 3000 km and the car show a warning or reminding me that the engine oil due to change soon. Has anyone had this problem too? If someone can answer my question, would be very much appreciate.

Same here, you have oil life time count down reminder. It can be turn off by pushing the lever in the dashboard that you use to change reset the trip meter. But if the countdown reminder is lapse, it cannot be turn off.

man so sick of all reviews doing the top models, I know they always say thats what was given to them but come on there are ways to review a base even if just using pictures and talking about it or renting one or finding a local owner willing to let you review it maybe for some small compensation or just the cool factor of having his car on youtube.

Heres my unpaid review of a 2018 crv after 6 months of my wife owning the coke can! There cheap and nasty! The water based crap paint scratches very easily, bat crap eats the paint even with ceramic paint pro, drivers window screams at you when you power it down, the tailgate doesnt line up with the striker plate, the tailgate hinges are sloppy, doors never shut properly, loose gear selector, centre console armrest rattles along with all the other rattles, last week my wife rear ended another car travelling at 20km and the crv needed to be towed away, very unstable on the highway in windy conditions, can never get a comfortable position for the passenger seat, the engine oil always looks like its done a million miles and the dreadful cvt trannie and headlights! Big mistake buying a crv!

John Sanchez nope look it up problems are abundant, for the turbo. The base engine I havnt heard of any problems but I cant say it doesnt have any but it is surely the safer choice but it means you have to go with base model lx.
