Ya I got a question. How many ppl either end up in the hospital or don’t go home ever again after the race? I don’t see a role cage or anything. Cars hit so hard the front end is hitting the drivers seat. (the limo into the 559 car to be spacific). Def fun to watch but it makes no sense. Who wins? The guy who lives? Haha

@@Rusty90 injuries are very rare. There's a lot of stuff done to the cars to protect the driver. They put a h-frame in, doorplates, floor plates, roofplates, and the list continues. First one to pass the checkered flag wins. But there's drivers who like to race and there are drivers who like to crash.

@@AutorodeoNederland ok that makes more sense. Didn’t know everything was that reinforced. As I watched I did see a little more safety measures added to the cars. Still, I’d want full cage, HANS device, ect haha. But if someone gave me the chance to hop in a car and all I had was a helmet, I’d still did it. Thanks for letting me know

@@Rusty90 some do use hans devices. The car needs to bent to it takes away the impact from a hit. Otherwise it would hurt you.

Hoe win je de race/wedstrijd eigenlijk? Naar mijn zeggen is het een beetje dom om je eigen auto kapot te rijden door bij iemand anders vol in de kofferbak te crashen. Of is er een puntensysteem dat wanneer je zoiets doet je punten krijgt? Of is het last man standing?

The Mk3 Granada Minster is one really rare car in that early body style. I have only ever seen 4 of them, 2 being on the circuit 😢

It seems like there is a huge amount of limos and Hurst that end up in Euro it seems. That one heat was a very large target run with the along of limo and Hurst. That black Hurst was it the same one that got bent and ran again or was there a couple of those Chevy impala type? The couple of cars you showed at the start, what where they, one looked like a 49 ford, not sure of the other big sedan that was old. Those two big I think jag type limos seemed to hold up pretty damn good it seemed. There was a dodge sedan of some type at one point that the rear end just folded 90 degree. I have not seen a car bend that way even in derby In years. Lots of 70s caprice in the late 90s where the big car to run. Many of them would have the trunk fold like that. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah there's quite a few limos and hearses that get raced every year. This year there were more than other years. The car you think was a 49 ford was a hudson. The jag type limos were daimlera ds420's. There were 6 limo's at this event.

Alsjeblieft niet. Dit is juist de essentie van Banger race. Brullende motoren met grote klassieke auto's. Puur oorlog op wielen. Met Tesla's en Hyundai icons, dan is het net een boxwedstrijd met 2 boxers die gecastreerd zijn. Als dit uiteindelijk de toekomst zou moeten zijn, dan zal je mij nooit meer bij een banger race zien.

You need to do quite a lot to your car. For example h-frame, doorplate, floorplate, roofplate, corner plate, box section at different places etc.
