305 in the rear and not mini tubbed? Damn and I thought I was pushing it going 285 on a 18’’ rim on my 69 Chevelle. Badass Chevelle dude!!
@cuzz632 ай бұрын
Yea, I dont know about 68/69 but 70-72 can fit a 305 without mini tubs. You have to get the rim backspacing spot on though and maybe trim some of the metal from the outer wheel well lip as some are pretty wide.
@HuntEmUp312 ай бұрын
I fit 295's on the back of my 70 and it's a pretty tight fit. There's maybe a half inch gap from the wheel well lip to the tire. Almost went 305's myself but don't think they would've fit with my wheel backspacing

LS isn’t played out best platform out there and there not cheap if your going big money LS like the LS3 or LS7
@Ragnarok1979Ай бұрын
The LS7 is the worst platform you can use for high horsepower builds. Best? For what? That's not close to true if you're seeking max power.
@dobetter4271Ай бұрын
@@Ragnarok1979 the LS7 makes 800hp N/A with no boost and it’s very reliable with a good heads cam setup it beats 1000hp cars and trucks all the time the Z06 is a nasty car now if your talking boost for max power just change the piston and rods out for low compression or get a LSX LS7 easily make 1500hp

I love that he kept the classic look of the car with chrome, body side moldings and paint scheme. And a warmed over BBC under the hood! The build of the car is very close to how I would mod a classic muscle car. The only change I would make would be to ditch the skinny 35 profile tires. They look cool but in a cruiser like this they make the ride too harsh for my tastes. And a Borgeson power steering box would be a perfect mod to tighten up the steering feel.
