As a child I had this car in red as a Siku toy car. This car reminds me of my childhood.

I only had a 1.9 16v but at 20 it was amazing unfortuantly it wasnt worth me fitting a new roof as the roof that I put on purchased from previous owner was a rubber roof not canvas so it doidnt fit properly. That car left me in summer and now have a CLS 320CDI but for the time at 20 this was amazing. My grandad also had 2 1.9 Mk1 and Mk2 mine was a mk 1

Hello, I am 17 years into ownership of Z3 2.8 Coupe and in the never sell camp like almost all. When you said that ”Then again that maybe the most fun car I’ve driven this year.” Did you mean 2024 or 2025. There is big difference. :D ps. Mine is preproduction coupe in 1/1 Pearlescent White paint that does not even have paint code, only individual. And I have built it from carbon fiber so it is 1185kg now, world’s lightest in other terms with full interior and hifi. Also has cams and still only 240hp, but is 10s faster than standard from 100-200kmh. I would give it to you but I am in Finland and car is in winter hibernation. :)

@@zlover7777 Yeah ofcourse, went and rewatch that and he did not talk a word in it, but it was 2 months ago, so ofcourse that means that it was most fun car in 2024. That is massive statement from guy who can drive any hyper- and super- and sportscar in the world. Loved the statement!

If I want a weekend toy to run around in, I would sooner buy a Mercedes Benz SLK with a six litre V8. Under the bonnet that has a 7 speed manual transmission. My A180 has a 1.6L engine that has been derated to 122 hp, but it pulls with the heart of a lion. It is limited to 210kmh. Open road fuel economy cruising at 109kmh is about 5 litres per 100km, which is excellent.

That's good you back on the old good days,where cars was good,and better build. Instead the show us the toilet paper on my personal opinion of modern era on today with 25.000 HP with 200 turbos. Very good this review do more of the 80/90..era.🎉❤❤❤

I love my miata 2.0L 184 hp, 200kg les, 0-100km/h in 6.5sec and not 7.9, and a lot more nimble in the corners, this Z3 i like the engine but that's al, al the BMW Z's are the fancy cabrio for the fancy people, not for the die hard roadster purist's. I drove a bmw Z3 and if you copare it to a MX5 on handling on the road not even close, if you put a good muffler on your miata it sounds also great not like a 6 cilinder but stil nice
