Fasten your seatbelt while tuning. That prevents the ignition to turn off during flash. Just to be sure. I tuned my F30 340i to stage 1. It is really fantastic. And dont forget to also use the XHP flash. That is a great upgrade to your transmission.

Wow, it would easily do 280+ kmh stock. I thought Stage 1 would get it under 10s. I have seen lots of tuned 540i's running much faster 100-200 kmh times.

i have the MHD too for my N13 engine, tbh i would never do it again. yeah it runs much faster but it doesnt feel as good as the car i had before which was tuned by a professional tuner.

I strongly recommend you not to flash any ECU, unless the car is connected to a battery charger. Saves you having to change your entire ECU if something goes wrong..

I've driven the Vredestein all season pro Giugaro design on a Q7 275/45/20 at 240km/h car loaded heavily and never had a problem in 30 deg C. They are rated to 170mph so no problem at all. Guy has no idea what he's talking about.

It's such a shame that BMW departed from the classic round dials to the confusing and hideous ones they now have. The only thing I would change in the interior of this BMW 540i is the steering wheel because it looks like a low-budget Walmart PlayStation/ Xbox steering wheel.

I dont like MHD anymore. Had it for 1,5 years on my M140i, but while flashing an update, MHD freezed and my car stopped working. Previous updates worked flawlessly, and i dont know what went wrong. I did not get any support from MHD at all to tackle the problem. My car had to be towed to a BMW workshop to get new original software. No more MHD for me after this bad experience with no customer service.from MHD. So be warned if something goes wrong you are on your own!
