Ferrari said they have a cap on annual production of the Purosangue, it's 15-20% of their entire production and the order book is filled till 2026. Urus is only popular among people who have no knowledge about cars. Also what's having multiple variants of the Urus have anything to do with this discussion? I am yet to see how the Ferrari is irrelevant!

I'm not a fan of the Urus nor Purosangue. However, the Porsangue is more special for only being based on the Roma's platform unlike the Urus which uses the shame platform/chassis and engine that is shared with many other VW products.

@@gaara4667 After doing a bit of searching it seems the Purosangue’s platform is bespoke according to Ferrari’s press release. My previous information was based on wikipedia. Even if the platform was only shared with the Roma makes it more special than driving what’s basically a Touareg.

Purosangue is way more pricey but it is more unique, has a more exclusive na v12, and has a lower rideheight making it leagues ahead of that urus, which is basically a cayenne turbo se hybrid with poorer handling and a higher price. And no, before anyone calls me a ferrari fanboy, i actually think the lambo gallardo 5.0 is the best sounding car ever made.

So it’s a Porsche developed drive train that Porsche can’t use in its own SUV… yet, the Panamera and Conti GT both share the same engine - the car is based on the VW family SUV platform it’s a parts bin special to generate cash for the brand but the facelift hasn’t blown the punters away if you look at the number of cars on the market

The Urus SE is such a masterpiece, this is my favorite SUV. It is just everything in one package, the space, practicality, style, fun, and now you get to enjoy it without guilt about the environment? It is just perfection. And, THEY MADE AN SUV THAT DRIFTS. I LOVE DRIFTING AND I LOVE THEM FOR THAT.
