In security, tokenization is a method that uses algorithm generated code/number as "tokens" to represent information. In data science, tokenization is breaking things into parts. Let's say you have a paragraph and you break things down into sentences, each sentence is a token. Or take the text and break into words, each word would be a token.

"Ballads are easier to sing" - Said no singer ever in the history of singing
@greggarey40685 жыл бұрын
It is easier to sing in the lower register if your voice where you don't fluctuate very much vocally. Almost all ballads are like that
@llddau5 жыл бұрын
Not always true depending on what your intention is when singing. That might seem so because newer songs often rely on belt notes and impressive runs instead of good quality gentle, high, medium or low range, gorgeous tone, much harder to control sounds. The powerful belting seems to get more screams on Idol etc but if you have the range is quite often much easier than you’d think.

If the artist is truly talented, what many people refer to as the "imperfections" is the artist's unique timbre that you partially lose when you run their voice in autotune. Personally, I don't mind autotune if I can't hear it, that is if it is discreet. If I can hear it, which is quite often the case (maybe due to my classical music training), I feel it often takes away from the listening experience.

Kinda like with "cringy" or "edgy"
@tigerchuu21485 жыл бұрын
Well, from a musicians standpoint it is a little bit pitchy. But as he is saying its basically just nit picking at this point. Sam Smith basically sings the same with a few pitches that are a little of but its normal because he is human and every singer has some days that are better than others. Also, singing in a different key is not unusual, you have to think about Mileys situation there, its been a long time since Miley actually sang that song, she is literally just sitting somewhere in a house and there is no backing track or tempo. A lot of the times when people try to sing songs without any background track, piano etc, they usually end up singing in a different key because you always want to sing in a register that is most comfortable to you.
@beambaapol5 жыл бұрын
The word pitchy was to describe a sound unmatched with the key(off key)the artist was singing. So, if anyone sings in a different key that doesn’t make them a bad singer or pitchy, if they still sang the melody right in the key they chose of course - they just sang a different key. For instance a man could be singing a female song and could be pitchy bc he couldn’t reach some the high notes. But if he chose to lower the key until his range fit and could sing everynote on point that doesn’t mean that he’s singing off key or pitchy, he just sang in a different key. Hope you understand from a singer’s point of view.
@postmannpat8435 жыл бұрын
Her voice is just deeper, she sang it like 5 years or so after the studio recording. She also was/is? a smoker, she started smoking at like 16 I think, so naturally her voice would be deeper and more raspy. While Sam Smith's live performance and recording were not far apart time-wise.

It's sad that people are so used to autotune that they freak out when a vocalist sings well without it. It's supposed to make good vocalists sound their best, not to be used as a crutch to hide behind when you didn't put in enough work.

I’m the same age as Miley. I saw her live in concert when “The Climb” was more popular. She sounded the same. The only thing I noticed with some of the other songs was she was yelling/screaming a lot, and started to lose her voice. But it was amazing! On the way to the concert, her driver actually passed away. I think they got into an accident, but Miley still did the concert. She added a tribute to her tour bus driver in there. Her brother Trace Cyrus also performed with her and I think Metro Station also performed during her concert. (Trace was the lead singer of Metro Station.) She also did “Thriller” and it was also an amazing performance. I can’t remember how old I was, I think it may have been 2009 (I’m not sure), if so, I was a Freshman in high school. So I was maybe 14-15 years old back then. I was born in 1993, so however old she was, I was a year younger than her when she did that concert.

I don't know what Roomie meant by he copied his uncle to the extend that he sings like him... Like, so he thinks no one else is ever gonna have that kinda voice. They're of the same family, Duh! And he was so mean towards that kid. This guy has no empathy others.
@imjayeleeiwishiwereabillio97314 жыл бұрын
@@niihjulienne6353 whatever the kids name is, u could tell on the autotune he was trying to sound like michael. Without autotune, he sounded adverage. i merember him being news a while ago, they were saying he was trying to get a lift off michaels name, and being autotuned to sound the same/similar as michael. they even had old clips of him talking and compared it to how he talks now, and you could hear he was even trying to immitate michaels speech.
