Thanks for the tutorial, good info. With the A440 standard though, when you change C major to 410 you affectively change it to B major. 30hz is about the same as the half step.

Great video! Awesome Tutorial very helpful indeed, but I have an adobe rant ...I had always used Soundbooth, it's easier to use in my opinion. When audition opens up for new users it opens up the sound file in voice track mode and I was so agitated because I couldn't figure out how to edit it or change the interface I tried changing the workspaces and still no way to edit the file, I would have never thought to click on multitrack because i only had one sound file not multiple files. I really hate that audition is so poorly designed a person well versed in other applications in the creative suite should be able to pick it right up. I can't even imagine how a noob would feel with this stupid interface. I wish they would have just enhanced adobe sound booth I'm so sick of having to re-learn new programs cause they can't make up their minds on a solid sound application.

Lmfao the amount of dips lets you know how out of tune your vocals are. To me it sounds like it is dipping up which means you are singing too flat. I love when people say "I can't sing and I am not a singer." when it is a practiced and learned trait. Some just pick it up faster. Anyone who wants to sing will find what they are good at and the style the excel at. For me oddly the best vocals I can do are heavy metal (Pantera, Lamb of God) but I still don't miss the opportunity to sing traditionally, I practiced enough to be capable of being in tune and sounding decent. And for those who say screaming is not singing I suggest listening to "Cemetery Gates" by Pantera and tell me that isn't singing, also I sing a lot of stuff from the 60's and 70's which is what got me to be able to use compression and distortion on my voice, exactly like John Fogerty of CCR did all the time he just used less of it. And yes I get told that a lot if the metal songs are the only thing a person hears first from me. But I did cover Brain Damage by Pink Floyd and it is on my channel. I am literally here to learn how to tune 1 goddamn word since that is the only thing out of tune. I would re-sing it but it is 5 degrees outside and I have a pellet stove running, the noise from it can be heard so it will have an underlying hum. So I just needed to tune the one word of the original vocals I did. This lesson is more for the whole track. Good video though I actually enjoyed seeing the results.

You can open the track individually highlight the part required to be modulated and use automatic/manual pitch correction there
