Nissan recommends 5w-30 but in hotter climates, the owner manual says 10w-30 up to 15w-50, but that would fuck up your mpg.

Most if not all newer cars show what kind of oil to use right on the oil cap. Problem solved!

My owners manual suggest 5w40., I live in a tropical country with rain and hot weather all year round. I wrongly bought a 15w 40. Is it okay to use 15w40 instead instead? Ps. I can't return as I don't have the receipt 😓
