Of all the themed parks of any variety in this world, this is one I would love to see. This place, the location, layout, costuming, acting... it is just absolutely wonderful. This visit was so much better than the other one I saw. The actors were so funny and I enjoyed the Emerald City at the end! I grew up in Virginia and a local restaurant had pamphlets advertising the park. I always wanted to go there, but never had a chance. Thankfully, your videos allow me to visit. Hopefully, I can actually go there when I'm back East during the time it's open.

Whoever designed that place could work for Disney! Who knows it might be a imagineer that owns that owns place. The way it walks you through the movie and even the actors playing the characters couldn't be better. Hope parents keep showing their kids this movie!

Here's a true Oz story for you. Disclaimer: I am old. Like, I used to work in a video rental/retail sales store in the late 80's old. We rented and sold VHS (AND Beta!!) tapes. THAT old. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the film, Wizard of Oz was re-released on VHS. It was a big deal. People pre-ordered their copy months in advance. I was working as a quasi manager the night of the big release. About 20 minutes after handing out all the purchased tapes in comes this horribly irate lady, screaming and yelling that we has given her a defective copy. Her complaint?---- "The first ten minutes of the movie isn't in COLOR!!!" I kid you not. Even after explaining that the first few minutes were deliberately made to appear sepia toned to contrast with the Technicolor brilliance of Oz, this idiot woman says she's "seen the film LOT's of times before" and that I "was obviously wrong, lying, and plainly just trying to rip her off", then insisted on having it replaced with "new, NON DEFECTIVE COPY". Eventually she got so peeved at my polite explanations that I could not fix her issue that way (I SWEAR I was nice!) , that she demanded a refund, which I cheerfully gave her. When she left, the other customers in the store all burst out laughing and gave me a round of applause for my customer service skills in the face of stubborn idiocy. Fun memory. 🤣🤣🤣 Tl:dr: Ridiculous woman buys Wizard of Oz on videotape--throws fit because beginning of movie is "not in COLOR" and can't get a copy that is.
