I love it that they have added vignettes along the Yellow Brick Road. They certainly have made a lot of improvements, even since last year. This is my favorite place that you travel to. Moment of the video" Jenn getting past the guard by singing "Oh, we, Oh". I was ROFLOL. Brilliant!

So at the 28:56 marker of this video, when you and Jen were skipping along, holding hands, singing together, I honestly choked up. I said, "Jacob and Jen both found their person in each other," cause the two of you just fit so well together. I WAS there when it first opened being a native North Carolinian. It was so awesome then. I'm glad they have tried to restore the show at the end. The original was fantastic! The last Oz Fest I went to my daughter and I climbed that high mtn under the chair lift. Whew! Debbie also owned the Ruby Slippers!

the Judy Garland overlook at 8:57 is where Me and my wife got married 21 years ago yesterday (sept 7th) when the park was closed, overlooking 3 states. When we got married we had no clue it was the land of oz to we were leaving and seen the yellow brick road and the faces on the tree's. We have been now when it was open such a cool place!

We were there Saturday. I just found your channel thanks to that visit. I saw you walking around with your camera and figured that you had a KZbin channel, so I searched YT for recent Oz videos and there you were. Great video. THANK YOU for the walk down memory lane! I went to The Land of Oz when I was probably around 8 or 9...late 70's. I know everything has changed due to vandalism, fires, time, etc. I also remember that balloon ride. That brought back great memories. Everyone did great with their characters as well. I live in the upstate of South Carolina...may have to make that trip the next couple of years. Be blessed!

I saw an interesting but very sad video of how Judy Garland suffered in her work. Starting with her mother she was at 10 years old she was given uppers to keep her going all day and downers for sleep. She was only allowed to sleep like 4 hours a day. She was drugged by Hollywood to do what she did. Horrible. The reality of stardom is often shocking.Nice job at the park,wonderful reanactment.

Jacob, please come to The Big E this year. The New England states dont have our own individual state fairs, we all share one known as the Eastern States Exposition, or "The Big E". It runs September 13-29 in West Springfield, Massachusetts. You'd be checking off 6 states all at once by going!

What a sweet video. I visited The Land of Oz during it's hay day in 1974. Our church youth group took a trip there.The balloon ride was the way we got to the top of the mountain. Wonderful place.
