I have loved Case knives all my life. I refuse to bad mouth them, but they have to get their act together! I really hate to see it. I have never returned a Case knife. However, I have never received one as bad as these. So, yes, I would return both of them! Completely unacceptable! Thanks for the video! You, Crawford, and Mr. Wade are the best!

Dang shame about poor quality control from Case. It’s a gamble to order one, which is about all I can do. Might explain why I don’t have many. Merry Christmas!

I bought the large stockman and the Barlow from this batch they’re both orange and neither have issues. I know that’s not the case (no pun intended) for most case knives. I want to love case Bc I just got into traditional knives in the past year but I’m not going to accept bs QC. Mine are both going to be users and I’ve returned plenty of case knives already but I’d return those even if I was going to use them.

This entire video, I was finger loving a Case #3375 CS, I pickup from DSC today!!! Best I can tell there are no issues!!! It was born 8/18/23. Thanks for the heads up!! I looked at 2 they had. And, I know Preacher Billy Ray and Bro Seth would stand behind there products!!! Best reason I know to shop local!! I know these were exclusive Knives, and no one at where ever you purchased them cares!!! It just seems corporate greed is ruining Case!!!

I ordered a medium stockman from this set myself as a carry knife and got a pretty decent one. Handle color and finish looked good, maybe a small bit of blade rub but hardly noticeable really. The edge grind isn't quite perfect but pretty good on all three blades. I was happy, but even as a user I would have sent back those, especially that busted handle.

In the last 6 months or so, I've sent around a dozen knives back to Case for repair. I don't send them back to the retailer. They go right back to the factory. I have extra time and knives to wait for them to make it right. I figure if we all stick to our guns and return the duds back to Case themselves, we'll force them into better QC. Cuz its been REALLY bad this year. Especially when you compare them to the $40 knives coming out of China. The Chinese knives are have far better f&f. I still love a Case knife, don't get me wrong. But they have to do something. That being said..... to anyone reading this, try yourself a Queen USA knife. I highly recommend their recent productions.

Lord have mercy. I mean i can take some slight blade rub but that 75 is in horrid condition. Wow. Absolutely send that back. Your razor is beautiful. Id have to say id keep Crawfords mini trapper too. But your right. That is not the smokey valley sunset were used to. Ill see what my razor and trapper and soddy look like whenever i get them in. Hopefully nothing to bad

On the ones yall keep, you can orange them right up with rit dye. Not difficult to do at all, and it won't hurt the knife in any way, it'll just normalize the color between the knives, especially if the intention is to have the exact same color on all of them. I however know that case collectors don't want to modify their knives from original, but still, just a small suggestion. In terms of the issues, it's sad to see that's the state of case knives. I only own about 6 of them, I however own a bunch of bulldog brand knives from germany, and 50-100 gec knives, several queen knives as well, and I sadly have experienced alot of this with my few case knives. I have a case bulldog clasp knife in blue jigged bone, that had a spur sticking off of the bone the would cut you, that I went ahead and "jigged" off myself with another pocket knife. You shouldn't have to do that with a factory product you've purchased, especially one that is supposed to be a collector's piece.

Agree 100% The photos weren't updated for the new batch. Just plain laziness is my guess. SMKW is above petty deception(imo). Have the Soddy, still a beauty, but not as pictured.

Man ,i hate such nice looking knives have those issues. Especially a collector series.. i have some nice Case knives but they are all of the older varieties. They are all users except one. Its my favorite. A Case Salmon bone limited edition Russ-Lock. Ihope everything turns out to your favor.

Great awareness video Matt! I got two of the new ones and they were pristine. A little blade rub or color variation doesn’t fend me off too awful much, but with the blades riding the liner and still rubbing so much that it won’t close would definitely be a no go for me! I’m anxious to see how smkw is going to handle this problem, I’m sure you will get a replacement if available but I have to wonder what they will do with the knives from there??

All they ever tell me is some bone takes the colors different from one knife to the other. The 2 sets of PB&j disappointed me so I will probably sell both sets.

I would send those knives back real fast. Most factories have what they call seconds. That is what these knives are. I don't understand what has got into Case. Just like The Knife Doctor said. Case quality has gone way down in the last few years.

I've seen it a good bit in the last few years..... They are definitely living off that hard working name of yesteryear! It won't take long to see the damage in their revenue either. That will get their attention fast than anything....😢 PITIFUL
