Mikes one of my fav anglers to watch, if I see any fish show before I’ve done anything with rods and baits I’m flicking 1 oz leads and choddys at them. Can’t tell you how many times this works for me

Keep the videos coming Mike. Do you ever use bottom baits with this rig? I’ve been using it with great affect with wafters and snowmen but unsure on bottom baits? Also I noticed the silicone you use is a lot longer on your rig?

I was thinking about using a flora carbon leader as I'm losing a few fish through hot pools with braids straight through is there any stretching in fluorocarbon I'd appreciate anyone's advice

While the stretch is a lot less than mono, a fluoro leader will still give you a little bit of cushion to avoid hook pulls and also make the end tackle less visible...win-win!
