I walked the streets of Reykjavik in the summer of 2023. It was the warmest (22 degrees Celsius) and also the last day of our 1 1/2 week vacation in Iceland. The video brings back this memory.

Thank you, Gylfi, great film and choice of music. I am nicely chilled out and relaxed now, just right for facing a busy day. I was struck by how little traffic there was in the centre of the city, any city, or town, here in the UK is usually full of traffic and bad parking for most of the day. Also by people walking most places it appears.

Me too! I was there in June and I came away dazzled with what Iceland provides and has achieved. And I’m not someone who likes winter, snow or ice!! It’s a very special place and I’m happy that it’s located where it is. It quietly does its own thing. And with its geothermal, tourism, fishing and people I know it will continue to be a gem of a place.

Great drive Gylfi. I've never been to Iceland and am a little surprised the streets are very narrow there. I was also surprised to see so much street graffiti on such a clean city. The disrespect is unfortunately everywhere I have traveled in the world.
