I really like how you put down the time of departure when starting your journey, it helps to give the viewer an insight into what time of day it is. Some other KZbin channels of this nature leave you to work it out, by trying to decide what direction the sun is shining from or by certain events like school children on their way home. Luckily I have family members who have served in the Armed Forces and who have taught me that the Sun always rises in the East, sets in the West - no matter where you are in the world.

No problem I like doing it too for my records. The rising and setting of the sun is true. It is challenging riding buses that travel from North to South and vice versa I find due to the position of the sun. East to west and vice versa routes are less stressful to film.

It's often a good idea to have your headlights on in such weather, front foglights as well (if you have them) not so much for your vision but so that other drivers might see you that bit better.🤞🤝😉🙂

I have quite a few batches of relatives that live in the East of Scotland and a few are right on the Coast - they often get a fog drifting in from the North Sea and the River Forth but they often refer to it as a Haar which I believe is a Norwegian term for a sea fog. Very mysterious and romantic.

@@busouting I love that part of the UK as well. Don't really know why. I know that I definitely love York, a city that is steeped in History from Roman times - some of which is still very obvious today. York is a walled city - you can see as the buses enter or leave and if the bus is travelling round towards railway station. One of my favourite English cities to visit.

@@busouting You may want to checkout the National Railway Museum while you are there. It's right next door to York station. And it has at least one Japanese Bullet train.

Used to be the 120/121 service between Scarborough and Bridlington. At least were turning off the new bypass and theres less traffic thru Reighton where my parents used to live, and then either passing or visiting(depending on the bus service) Reighton Sands and the Primrose Valley holiday parks.

@@busouting yeah, it was late 90's to around 2005 when I used to go over, maybe when the company changed livery? I dunno! Lol Same as in Leeds when recently some services have been renumbered! It confuses some people expecting their bus to turn up, or some people doesnt know if the new numbers gonna keep the same route!
