Autumn Hiking in Nuuksio: Haltia - Haukkalampi connecting trail & Korpinkierros

Another two hikes in Nuuksio national park. This time I hiked the connecting trail from Haltia to Haukkalampi and Korpinkierros and also stopped by Haukanholma. Of course I took some very relaxing coffee and tea breaks at Mustalampi - which I gotta say is now my favourite place of all to have coffee or tea.

I love watching the ducks... it’s super relaxing and peaceful. 😊 And yes, they are friendly. No, I didn’t make a fire - I had a thermos (vacuum flask) of hot water with me. God bless and keep you and your loved ones, Michael! Hope you are keeping well! 🙏😊🕊🍁🍃

Thank you. It must be so lovely there, Lisa. I’m so glad you have a place like that there to enjoy. Outdoors days in nature are just the best! 😄👍🌲🦔💕 No, I didn’t stay overnight. It’s quite close by here. (I can get there by regional train + bus, although it can take up to 1.5 h on public transport with the train to bus transfer waiting time.) Camping in a tent especially during the feast of tabernacles would be awesome and there are quite a few camping areas there but I don’t even have a tent or a sleeping bag or some other necessary camping gear. Seems you Finns find it important to have dry socks! By the way I love the two board paths. Here in Texas we just have to walk around the puddles. Wish I could have come with you.

Lol, yes, very important to have dry socks. 😄👍 The board paths are called pitkospuut in Finnish and are a very traditional way of making wetlands, marshes, swamps etc easily passable on foot. You see a lot them in our national parks. It would be so fun to go hiking with my whole Christian family from KZbin! Oh goodness... to sing worship songs together at a campfire... 😄🙌🕊🍁🍃🌲 The Lord bless and keep you always, Jeremiah. 🙏🕊
