Allison, I love watching all the adventures and travels you guys take. As someone who loves to travel myself, it’s so fun to watch. But I have to say, sweet girl, you seem like you really should consider living somewhere with seasons. The way you appreciate and get such pleasure in travel during fall, and the way you love the coziness of Christmas/winter, you just seem like someone who would love living in 4 seasons. I grew up in CA. My husband and I moved from San Francisco to Denver when our daughter was 16mo old. I have to say, even after 13 years, my heart still sings every time the leaves start to change, the first snow storm of the year arrives and the first green buds of spring appear. Having followed you for a while now, I have a hunch you would love all those things too. 😘

It's been a long time since I was in NYC and watching this video makes me want to visit it again, but this time in the Fall instead of late spring like last time I went. Hi Alison, You would love Governors Island, which is across from Manhattan w/ a 6 minute ferry ride. It's calming, relaxing & historic. I used to live there b4 they shut the Coast Guard Base & turned it into a tourist spot. I loved Hudson Yards & Chelsea Markewhen we visited a couple months ago. We also went to an Observatory near Grand Central Station which was awesome. We didn't make it to Brooklyn but we will when we return this Spring.

I love that you came to the place I grew up! lol 😂❤🎉 I was born in Brooklyn and a real city brat in my teens, 20’s and 30’s. Now, I also look for slower, less crowded times. May I suggest you take the ferry next time and come to Snug Harbor on Staten Island?! Maybe spend the day and see Historic Richmondtown, the Conference House, and/or the Tibetan Museum/Garden?!
