Yeah, I notice that sometimes, too. I get so focused on what I'm doing in the game that I fail to take in all the scenery around me. I really started noticing in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, because I was so excited to explore Ancient Greece, only to do the tunnel vision thing and play the game more than appreciate the scenery. And yeah, playing this game in VR is mind blowing!

Listening to this video got me through the entirety of my first year in college. Late nights studying for exams, cramming assignments and navigating a whole new world, I pushed through it all with the almost ethereal music of Skyrim and the peaceful ambience of the Rift with it. This is a masterpiece. Extremely nostalgic. I occasionally play Skyrim in VR. The first time I walked through that incredibly immersive world and this music came on, I stopped and just looked around. Lost in memories; nearly moved to tears. It somehow brought back a sense of mystery and wonder, from when the game was new. If only for a moment...

I just started a new playthrough the other day, was walking through the Rift and taking in all of its autumnal majesty a d thought to myself "man, I'd live to just live in Tamriel as a random joe". This music brings me back to the times when the only thing keeping me not giving up on life was Skyrim. It has become a sacred place for me. A place of pilgrimage that I visit sometimes and cry.
