Autumn moods | food, nature, outings & a birthday

Greetings, all. Half of autumn has already passed here in Denmark. I've tried to savour it, or get through it, depending on the weather and on my mood. I'm such a creature of the seasons. I wonder how you've dealt with/are dealing with autumn (or spring) wherever you are at the moment, and if there are any of the sentiments that I express here you can relate to? (I would love to know that I'm not completely alone in this ebb and flow of autumnal moods). I'm very grateful to be able to share this with some of you out there, i.e. that you are here. - Best wishes always, Helle

Happy belated birthday, Helle! I just learned last Autumn the joy (and ease!) of just rolling over the leaves with the lawn mower set very close to the ground:D It mulches them and gives nutrients back to the yard. I know some rake leaves for the enjoyment or exercise or just out of preference but I can never resist telling folks when I see them raking..just in case! 😌🍁 Love your channel! Having been to Tanzania, I can kind of imagine how it’s not very quiet in Kenya- unless you go way out into the bush/savannah, which I guess is too dangerous. Denmark has none of that wilderness, which is both good and bad. A lesson for us all to enjoy what’s around us 🍂

Hi Elle, those Autumn colours are lovely, 3 weeks to go until the official start of Summer here in Australia, still cool cloudy and Winter like! And I do agree on your point about getting older,,it is something to be grateful for! I have recently turned 60 and.can now get a bit wistful at times!
