Really superb choice Jennifer! I do like Painted Polish formulas. I meant to tell you, I got my first couple of Cuticula polishes, thanks for the recc on the formulas. I've worn one already and it was amazing! I like that you included some OPI etc cremes too. And yes we are totally just friends sharing here, I love that!

I don't live in Portland. I just go to Portland quite often. I live in Hillsborough. Me and my husband were traveling and happened to be in this area when covid hit and we've just been here ever since. I definitely wanted more sunny days this summer. I think I only wore sandals twice, but I'm not from here. I'm from the Central valley California so I'm used to extreme heat so it just never felt warm enough to me 😁

Oh, cool! Nice to know there are cool, polish loving people near me. I worked in Hillsboro for a year at the Intel campus. The drive home was just horrendous. Nice area though. I’m not into shimmer polishes (shocker) so BKL and a lot of indie releases are not my jam. I really like crellies, flakies and magnetics that are galaxy in a bottle manis aka dark base with blue/green/purple shimmers.

I am definitely not into sheer shimmers. I have been trying some more opaque shimmers lately, but my favorite is definitely flaky polishes oh, and I've decided that I wasn't going to judge magnetic so hard before I make a purchase. The one I'm wearing right now is so good! I don't want to take it off. it's made me feel like it's totally worth the extra time to do a magnetic 😀

@@JenniferDufoe Magnetic polish is totally worth the time, but most of the time I want a quick manicure so I keep my magnetic collection small enough to be able to rotate through it - I like to wear my polish at least once a year, if not it's on the chopping block!

Last year was the first year I was into Indie polish and I felt like they released a ton of deep dark moody polishes for Halloween. But this year it seems like most polishes that are being released are a little bit more cheesy and whimsical Halloween polishes and I'm not that into it. So it did scare me away from ordering an advent calendar. I've already made my Halloween rack and I'm super stoked about everything I put in it. And boy let me tell you I put way more than 10 polishes 😆
