Whenever I want to wear this many polishes I design myself a 10 finger skittle!! Trying to balance the skittle with 10 different colours is so much fun! You could do the red Cuticular on one hand and balance it out with the glowy purple on the other and mix some some greens on each hand and the rest those deep dark shades with flakies… would love to see what you come up with!

I'm not super great about picking a bunch of colors that look good next to each other, but I want to do maybe a couple accent nails. polish with Ray is so good with making color combinations

@@JenniferDufoe There's easy rules you can follow to make a nice skittle. You already have a limited colour palette, so shouldn't be hard! 1. All polishes have the same finish 2. All polishes in the same colour family (e.g. all orange & brown), painted light to dark thumb to pinkie (or reverse) 3. All polishes in the same "tone" aka all midtone or all pastel or all vampy 4. All polishes with the same shimmer ( Ray added a shimmer topper to her creams to unify her skittle)

I've never seen anybody write it down in this manner. You think polished with Ray follows these rules and that's how they come out so amazing. I never considered looking up a guideline, that sounds extremely helpful. Thank you for taking the time to write that down for me

I was actually surprised when I saw the labels like that because I put them in plastic containers and then in my helmers to separate colors and collections. There's no texture whatsoever on the container so I'm not sure why it's happening. It sucks because I really like BCB labels. They're so colorful

Great picks! I would wear them all 😂👏 I have “Trap Of Love” and have worn it- in 2 coats it looked like that pretty reddish color in the bottle, but when I put a third coat on, it got a lot deeper and more purple. I did wish I had left it at 2 coats. Can’t wait to see what you wear!!! ❤️😎

I like your thumbnail. It's well done and cute. I chose Shawn from Zoya with Essie Shine of the Times on top for Halloween. I only wear one Halloween polish because I have an old school, Halloween is one day, mentality. I hope you enjoy your soofy season.🕸🥳 I hear ya with saving money. I am still working on wearing all the polishes in my collection just once. I have 27 to go for various seasons. NO nail polish for me till I wear them all and see if I love them or not. After this I am giving myself a one polish limit a year! OMG! The least loved will go and I get a possible new finish or something. I have other hobbies I'm focusing on, and I'm tired of buying things. I never thought this would happen.

Zoya’s Leopard Spots is a normal crackle, but if you put it over one of Zoya’s Pixie Dust polishes, it will loon more leopard spotty.

I'm curious about your frequent mention of purple here... Looking at your fingers in the video, at least on my screen, you appear to have quite pronounced lavender undertones in your skin, so I would imagine that purples would look great on you 💅 I'm a cold girl myself, yellow gold orange reds really clash with my skin, so I stick with mostly blue teal violet magentas, and it works. Have you worn Goblins and Ghoulies yet? That's the only one from this assortment that I own-I'm new to indies, but I decided to try out PPU back in July. (I figured that Rewind offerings are tried and true and loved by customers, so probably a good bet.) From what I recall, the shimmer in there is blue, not purple, and it's so strong that it practically overpowers the base color, which was described as "mulberry," I think? I guess mulberry is in the warm-leaning red-violet wine color range. Anyway, with that one, I mostly see 🟦BLUE🟦 all up in my face lol Hope it worked out for you. If not, it would probably be highly desired in a destash. Happy spooky season 🎃

I do think purple looks good next to my skin tones. I'm not sure what my undertones are and things like that, but I was talking to a professional makeup artist when I got married many years ago and they said that purple is a complimentary color next to my skin tone but I just don't like purple. I've been trying to warm up two darker types of purples but lighter lavender or medium purples give me the ick. I haven't tried goblins and ghoulies yet, but I do hope the blue shimmer shows up on my nail. I always do what I wore in the month. Sometimes I'm behind on it but I still always catch up so when I wear it I'll definitely chat about it 😊
