To be fair, everyone wrote AUS off until this Autumn and look at them....im english but eveyone wants to see a strong Welsh team. The sport is worse off without them

Rugby in wales is dead, no money, no supporters, grass roots struggling. My local club has 21 players registered we used to have 2 teams and lots of players for years, also rugby club is dead.

Dewi Lake is a man with all the heart that could be expected of a Welshman at rugby. Not convinced about all the players though. But look at the mess we have: no stand out coach nor any option within Wales, players' skill with few exceptions lacking,and near empty stadiums. No hope !

No need to panic ladies and gentlemen! The whole point of the Autumn Series is to measure exactly where Wales are in terms of the readiness of players for the 6 Nations Championship in 2025. We have of one the best coaches in the world and the last thing we need is change at the coaching level. We all know the challenges with the regions, but this isn't going to change overnight! The only strong message that I have in the wake of several consecutive defeats is that some players are at risk of throwing their immediate future away, NOW IS THE TIME to perform before it's too late to recover.

Would hardly class Gatland as one of the best coaches in the world. He had a golden generation of players at his disposal before and even then he only had like a 57% win rate? Don't think his Lions record was great either...

This is my observation of Warren Gatland's approach to coaching during matches. To me my observations about his demeanor and the lack of visible intensity in the coach's box are valid concerns, especially when compared to other coaching teams who are more actively engaged. To me, it looks like Gatland, prefer a more composed, observational role during games, focusing on analyzing patterns and making calculated decisions rather than constant interaction. However, this approach can sometimes be misconstrued as disinterest or lack of passion. If the team's performance isn’t matching expectations, it’s fair to question if this coaching style aligns with what the players need. I think a more hands-on and visibly intense coach would make a difference for the team. Currently it does not look like that.

The level of rugby worldwide has gone up dramatically in the last 2 years……wales’ has not. So even if they reach the previous levels of Gatlands reign they are not going to be a top ten team

He has lost it since the world cup, it's not his fault they show no commitment or make basic handling errors etc. But he has lost the dressing room so has to go

If Wales has a good 6 nations it would actually be a problem for them, Gatland isnt the coach to tqke them further unfortunately. I ront get why the NH are always using SH coaches, surely there must be a coach that is born on their island and can take them further.

Gatland needs to get to SA & NZ, to pick up a few Springbok and All Black rejects. Or the South African Rugby Union could go into partnership with Welsh Rugby union and play a Springboks 4XV, as a the Welsh team, that would be more competitive, than this Welsh team, and probably would win the European Championship
