Not to be rude... but this is an off year for Wales... not day... so it's a much bigger problem then playing just 1 or 2 bad games... I'm a saffa myself and 2016 - 2017 were off years for the boks. Big change was needed and thank God it came. The Welsh problem is much much larger than we had.

We have players that are not international standard yet, Virtually all our players from Grand Slam Wales are either retired or just gone. In time they look to have the potential to be good players. Gatland is not a miracle worker and Wales won't get good overnight, but there's no other coach that could make a difference for Wales.

I sometimes dispise the media. The click baiting, the dishonest intent and their phishing for a popular but dishonest headline. Meanwhile any rugby lover feel for Wales and this period of rebuild which was neglected by the WRU. As a South African supporter we need a strong Wales team and Gatland is the right person to get them back on track but unfortunately that will take time. I only wish them a speedy rebuilding period.

@stefanschouteden519616 сағат бұрын
Even though, this coach always appears to be in pain to say something nice about the boks, you have to feel a bit for him. So far, we have witnessed, throughout these autumn series that Wales' talent and selection poule seems to be very limited. Whilst watching their game against the wallibi-s, a clear observation was the huge difference in size and physicallity of the players, to a point that this was always going to be a hiding to nothing...

All the blame should be placed at the WRU feet, they are to blame for the Welsh teams poor results. Warren Gatland is not to blame for bad results, he is a great coach, and has shown that in the past. But due to the WRU decision on poor salaries, he no longer has the option of being able to choose top class players, they have moved to where the salaries are more to their advantage.
@TruidaSwart4 сағат бұрын
The real question that should be asked is; Would any other decent coach take Gatland's job with the current pool of players available to them??? Taking over the Welsh Coaching job would be a career ending move for any Professional coach given the lack of talent in Welsh rugby. The Welsh Rugby administrators need to do some deep soul searching as they are the people responsible for making sure that the systems are in place to develop players (new talent), and grow the love for the game in Wales.

Poor reporting,, really, asking stupid questions. Warren is a seasoned professional with a history of success. Yes. Wales is underperforming at the moment, but there are many factors for this.
