My wife & I stayed 4 nights in Matsumoto. It is a beautiful small city. My wife loved it so much. During our stay there we went to Kamikochi, Daio Wasabi Farm & ShinanoOmachi ❤❤❤

we are planning to go and visit japan next november, making a road trip between tokyo and kyoto which is going to be a lot similar to yours.....You were blessed , the weather was incredible, near peak momijigari .....kamicochi was amazing. great video , waiting for the last one.

How cold is it in Kamikochi?

It wasn't that cold when we were there, around 15°C in the morning, and likely 20°C during the day.

Kamikochi is our favourite among these three 🙂If you have three days in Takayama, you can spend one day in Kamikochi and half day in Shirakawa-go. Kurobe is a bit farther from Takayama, so we recommend staying somewhere closer, like Toyama.
