Hi sir! I just subbed. However, there is one tip i have to make coffee taste at least twice as good as your method. Boil the water separate from the coffee. When the water boils, take it off the fire and wait for the bubbles to stop forming. When it does, wait for another 30 seconds and THEN pour it in the cup with coffee. The coffee will have a much smoother taste and it will not taste "burned" at all. Furthermore, the cream will have a nice coffee brown color, instead of white. The method doesn't cost extra time or effort. Just some counting to 30. And the result will be a much, much tastier coffee. I learned this trick from a visit to the Illy coffee factory and the guide told me that. I tried it, and it works really excellent. I subbed because i love hammocks, outdoors, calm people and Mora knives. Btw, i just bought a Mora competitor, the Hultafors Heavy Duty. For ten bucks. And i am very happy with it.

Thank you for taking the time to watch, sub and leave your nice comment, my friend! I really appreciate that! Awesome review as always Dave! If I use an appropriately rated sleeping bag or system inside the hammock for temperatures under 50* will this under quilt work for lower temps?
@HighCarbonSteelLove7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the very kind words, my friend! It's great to hear from you and excellent question! IMHO, I think you would be okay in temps a bit under 50 with your sleeping bag and this under quilt. Just make sure to wear nice warm clothing. I had the black bag of the MMSS sleep system, this under quilt, a wool blanket and warm clothing down to about 40 degrees and I was comfortable, for the most part! -Dave

Hello Friend 🙂 Great video and gear. I really like the gear sling. I currently have a double bottom Hennessy Hammock. I use the sleep mat like you used to and if it gets very cold I will stuff a space blanket in there. Was the under quilt that much better? All the ones I have seen are very expensive. Do you think they are worth what they charge?
@HighCarbonSteelLove7 жыл бұрын
Hello, my friend and thank you for taking the time to stop by! The under quilt was excellent and very convenient. I find my yoga mat moving round a lot at night. This will be a nice 3-season under quilt and for the price, it doesn't really hurt to give it a try. You are right, other under quilts I've seen are very expensive. -Dave

Great video Dave! Under quilts are the way to go. It is hard to find a good one at a decent price. So many of them are obscenely expencive. I really love that organizer for your ridge line. What a great idea. What hammock were you useing? I hang a kammock Roo and love it. I am currently using a snugpak underblanket and it works but could be better. Thanks for the lead brother. Have a good week.
@HighCarbonSteelLove7 жыл бұрын
Hey brother, thank you for taking the time to stop by! You are exactly right about the price and for 3 seasons, I think this one is a great value! Great to hear from you, my friend! -Dave
