Really like this Hatchet, just can't justify it at the time. I also have a LTWK GNS but in sabre grind and I really love it. It just works, heavy enough to baton if I had to but the sabre grind makes it a great carver. Thank you for the video.

Love your videos Dave! I'm very happy to watch your channel. You have great taste in gear, but you also have great skill using your gear. I live in an area where trees are mostly decidusous hardwood and very difficult to feather stick. Perhaps it's my underdeveloped technique. Do you live in an area where trees are soft and easy to feather?

Thank you, my friend! Love having you here! You are exactly right about Council Tool and there are many outstanding new things on the way from them! I didn't find the size causing any problems, at all, especially when it's used for exactly what its designed for! For heavier tasks or winter outings, I would just something a bit larger. Great camp hatchet, though! -Dave

Great video friend🙂👍🏻 I have seen mixed reviews from Council though. Kind of a hit or miss. How do you think the GNS holds up to the Genesis? I picked up a Genesis in A2. It was a hard decision between the two. I went with the Genesis because it is tried and true so I new I would get a great knife, and it is!😀 Still waiting on that Lagom to restock. I really like to buy USA made products so maybe I will roll the dice on council👍🏻 Thanks again for the great reviews 🎉🎉
