As someone who went to college immediately after high school, then grad school immediately after college, I was initially so desperate to be independent and leave my very sheltered upbringing, but once I was out in the 'real world' (because college isn't the real world!) I was too scared to actually put myself out there at all. I'm 31 now, and I finally feel like I'm coming into my own, so my advice to others is to come into your own at your own pace! "Late" blooming is real, and it doesn't mean you aren't destined for great things, it just means it might take you a bit more time/effort to get there. I stumbled my way through my 20s but my 30s feel limitless :)

As a fellow 31 year old who’s having her late “coming of age” moment, yesss I feel this! Back to back schooling then trying so hard to be an adult because of what’s expected at certain points in life. The moment I turned 30, I felt like I reverted back to my child/teen hood of when I was actually myself. Total agreement about 30s being the best times 🥲🫶🏻

I currently live near Bath. If you like Bath, I'd recommend visiting Winchester, which is 1 or 2 hours away from Bath by train. It was even mentioned in one of John Keats's poems about autumn. In my humble opinion, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially in autumn. It is quite small, so it's good for quiet time. There are lots of coffee shops and quirky independent bookshops. I recommend PG Wells. It's also home to Winchester Cathedral and King Alfred, who people say King Arthur is based on. Jane Austen is buried in Winchester Cathedral, and her house is about a 5-minute walk away. Her childhood home is about half an hour in the South down the national park.

i live really near bath and i've been going there ever since i was really young and every time i go back a fall more in love with it, the park were i read my 1st full book, the square were i marched my 1st protest, going topping and co my fav book store with my frends (which i recommend going to) i love your videos so much, and i hope you have a loveley rest of your trip

That same picture people always show with that creepy looking kid. Yeah, the Romans sacrificed a lot at those baths. Their hair, their health and their lives. If only they had known all about the dangers of Lead we could still use them today. Bath is a perfect town and I look forward to going there. Lovely video as always.
