@@sausana2501 I'm from near Oxford so I'm biased, as it's also not too far from the Cotswolds and places like Blenheim Palace and Burford. I'd also recommend Alnwick and the surrounding coastal villages in Northumberland. There are so many others all over the country though! Probably best to visit May/June or September as you won't have the school holiday crowds 💝

I love seeing other people from outside of England coming and enjoying the English countryside as someone who lives in England. if you have time you should definitely try and go to some national trusts or some English heritage properties as they are one of my fav things to do in the English country side. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in England as it is coming to the best time of year to visit it x

Chatsworth house is not far from me ! I used to go there almost every christmas as a child with my grandparents and it felt like a fairytale. Every christmas they decorate it as a childrens book theme, my favourite was the Narnia one🥰

I came back from England yesterday and I think you would love the places I went to; the area is named the Cotswolds. I'm from Spain so I've had the chance to travel through Europe's countryside quite a lot, but the towns and landscapes over there were some of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.

I'm a huge believer in romanticizing life. While I know some people see it differently, I don't really see the point of living this short life in a "normal" way. I love that feeling of longing, like I belong to a world that no longer exists. It’s beautiful to imagine yourself in a reality that has passed. When you were packing for England I meant to leave a comment saying to bring some tights!! That way you can wear your cute dresses and Mary Jane’s but still be warmer. I know England has similar weather to the Pacific Northwest with lots of cloud cover, rain, 🌧️ foggy air from the sea 🌫️, and chillier than you’re used to in Texas. I hope you get lots of fish n’ chips!
