AUTUMN VS WINTER COLOR ANALYSIS | in depth examples of my color season

I always get comments saying I’m a winter, but I think I’m an autumn! Here are some examples where I think it’s pretty obvious. Can you see the differences? What season do you think I am??
Disclaimer: I have had a professional color analysis by ‪@carolbrailey‬ and my result was “True Autumn”, and I think she’s spot on!

Could you do a similar video showing us why you are Autumn and not Spring? I think you’d look nice in true spring colors.

it has to do with saturation of colors. true spring features warm tones in bright saturation. think of a bright grass green, versus an olive green. both warm shades of green but the intensity of color is different. She looks great in muted earth tones

I so don’t mean to be a hater but I fr think this is literally all such a pseudoscience and you look like you in every color & you’re beautiful so I wouldn’t stress it too much honestly

it's not pseudoscience! it's based on color theory which is a very real thing. it's certainly a subtle difference, but if your goal is to look your very best this is really impactful. they do this on every actor/news anchor/celebrity and dress them in their best colors for TV/movies for that reason too

@@itsmarinaann lol I work in tv actually and that’s not how our talent goes about it at least at all! Contrary to ms Emma Martin I do understand what you’re saying and I am a painter who mixes color and understands color theory, I’m just trying to make a point that I don’t think it’s that serious and people don’t have to work that hard to ‘look their best’, I think that comes from wearing what you’re confident in and building it around your personality instead of pigeonholing yourself by color which, again, I think is a little much. For example, anya Taylor joy looks stunning in this styled white gown you can search up- in fact many of her looks go against color theory but they’re her and they’re beautiful! And I just fully believe that’s the case for all people, I think embracing our natures and what we like instead of what we think looks good to other people or fits an established mold is a powerful thing, and again after having watched your video, I thought you looked great with every color & I actually really liked the gray! Beauty and looking your best is subjective, I don’t think anyone needs to do a wardrobe overhaul 😅

Hi! Is it posible that the camera configurations or editing make either what you’re saying more evident or not evident at all? I think i see the lightning change when you change clothes.

this isn't edited at all, just filmed on an iphone. the lighting does adjust a little bit automatically, that's true in all color analysis videos but IMO that can sometimes make it *less* obvious too, bc the camera is adjusting to the colors rather than just showing how much it really changes IRL. unfortunately there's no way to show it perfectly online, that's why most color analysts even only do this in person :)
