Swap the Manolo’s up, if the front toe box is narrow enough to contain your foot comfortably. You’re just making it. I got my first pairs, at 19, I’m nearly 63. I still wear them… on special occasions. When I lived in Chelsea ~ I was around the corner from his Church St Atelier. I used to watch his sister, Evangeline , walk through my square to the Kings Rd. The most elegant woman I ever saw. Custom Seville Row suits made for her. Her brothers shoes. Her elegant silver updos. My fashion icon. You have a similar fashion sense. Grey is my investment color of this season as well. Another great base color. Just bought the most divine cashmere sweater from Cos. They have the best ones! I buy one cashmere sweater a year and theirs last me so long. Great quality, for those on the lookout! Love how you pair grey with denim blue. I usually opt for my black basics but this was cute. Will be looking for a grey pair of oversized tailored trousers as well.

The gray blazer looks great on you and the style is very in. I do not agree with a few ppl that say the video is purchase oriented! You have to use this video as a scaffold and make it work for your wardrobe! You have to first look in your wardrobe to see what u already got and if something is needed go to a store that works for your budget and style up!! Think of your own style and what you feel comfortable and great in!!

Wow Manola Blahnik , Filippa K , Toteme, Frankie Shop even Arket , you’ve certainly moved on from your Zara , Mango and Boohoo videos. It makes me sad that influencers , when they start to become successful lose sight of why they became popular in the first place . I’ve always thought how beautifully and elegantly you dress even if you are a totally different , shape , height snd age to me and could get so much much inspiration but sadly I find lately your style is justunachievable in today’s society and even if I could afford it some of these pieces a lot remind me of the story about the emperors new clothes 😬 Lydia please take this as constructive criticism as we are your customers in effect , if I have a bad meal in a restaurant I would say the same to the chef , could you try in some of your future videos incorporate more obtainable pieces or pieces sourced pre loved that way It helps people with less disposable income find a more realistic style .

I do understand what you say about influencers starting with brands such as Zara and Boohoo, and then as their videos become more popular, replacing them with the more premium names. However, this actually reflects my own journey - when I was young I bought cheaply, not caring about fabrics, longevity, or how items were produced. Over time, my taste in fashion has changed, and I am far more aware of how clothes are made and the fabrics used. I want well made items, in quality natural fibres, that will last. I can’t afford to buy them new, but have made some excellent purchases from charity shops and occasionally eBay. We may not be able (or want) to buy the actual clothes Lydia is showing, but if we like them can keep an eye out for something similar. As they become more successful, influences like Lydia are exposed to more premium brands and their tastes evolve.

I think you probably don't follow my channel or what I do, because what you say isn't true. I've never done Boohoo videos for one so I'm presuming you're mixing me up with someone else. Secondly, I've just done a video dedicated to H&M so perhaps you've not seen or maybe ignored that so you can make this kind of comment. I always share Mango pieces and constantly reference the brand, particularly on my Instagram. As for Zara, I have recently shown several pieces from there but have found that quite a lot of their items have gone down hill. Sadly the quality and styles that they're producing are just not what they used to be, and I've found myself not shopping there as much. Regardless though, my channel is all about inspiration and if you watched this video (or any of my videos), I mention several times that my content is for inspiration and ideas for you to adapt into your own wardrobe. I mention this with nearly every piece; that these are suggestions and I talk about HOW you can break down these ideas into your own wardrobe so you can suit it to your style. It isn't constructive when you've not really been following what I've said and been saying for years.
