I love that you go into shoe pairings. That’s one of the things I struggle with so much bc th wrong pairing can really ruin the fit and make me feel uncomfortable in the outfit. I feel a lot of KZbinrs don’t go into it. Also, I’m someone who’s always hoofing it to get to the train. So heels aren’t always practical for me. So, thank you! 😅🥰

I totally agree with you Lydia, about bringing lighter tones or colour to your Autumn/Winter wardrobe. I know it's not traditional for the season, but all the dark/deep tones can become a bit dreary, but with a addition of colour can bring life back to an outfit. Hi Lydia, loved the video (& all your content in general). You're definitely the style bible for me! I would love to see an evening capsule wardrobe/lookbook & also something around how to select new pieces for your wardrobe to strike that balance of classic & modern but also premium looking items when they are actually on the more affordable side. You could do this for different core wardrobe pieces like a black blazer, white shirt etc & talk about what you look for. I would find this really helpful to build confidence in my purchasing decisions 🙂 xx

Incredible video as always!! I just have to say I bought this Polene bag in the textured black leather and literally the best thing I ever did! I’m a mom of two and this bag is so well made and durable! I can’t say enough great things about it and feel so special every time I wear it! Hey Lydia, thank you for the great video. I have an idea for a video that I don’t see much on KZbin and that would be very informative for me. It’s easy for me to shop for coats, blazers, shoes because you don’t need as many of them as say trousers/tops so you can spot a few styles you like and that’s it. For tops, I find it difficult to know what pieces are basic enough to stay simple and to style with everything but interesting enough to not make your outfit too bland. A video that would encompass top types (blouses, jumpers, tshirts, shirts, …) and trousers and the materials that are comfortable, don’t look cheap, are long lasting and warm for winter for example would be very interesting to me. Keep up the great work ❤

Thank you, Lydia. Yes, we do have a Cos in the US. I often go into my Cos store at our Natick Mall, just outside of Boston, MA. So glad that tweed jacket is in style again. I have a very good one from years ago, that looks just like yours, only it is more on the camel color side of tweed rather then taupe color. I haven't worn it for years, mainly because of the lapels looking out of date. But looking at your jacket, I can seem mine is right in style now. It is double breasted as well, and has an ever so slight shoulder pad. I will be finally be able to wear it this year. Great! I use to horse back ride and I love and have riding boots, but I also have a short riding bootie and leather/suede shin guards that were made to go over your short riding bootie. I took great care when I rode, so I can probably wear them again as fashion riding boots. What do you think. They clasp underneath the short bootie. I also have a pair of cream colored riding jodhpurs (as well as a black pair and a hunter green pair from my mother). I tried them on recently, they are very snug, not sure if I am brave enough to wear them out with the black riding boots and my old tweed jacket, there are too many horse farms around here, people will think I have just come from a ride. BTW, Lydia, I can't believe people criticize your scuffed sneakers. That is what happens when you wear sneakers, especially in the city. High top Converse sneakers brings me back to my high school days. I think I might forgo that trend. ;-)

I can thoroughly recommend Duo boots! I have very slim calves and shoots can look like wellies! I have three pairs of their knee high boots that I’ve had for at least 15 years and still love and wear them😍. Also I’ve bought white leather Converse Berks high-top trainers for the Autumn/Winter and love them - SO comfy☺️

I have been binge watching your videos since I found you and I absolutely adore your style. I would like to suggest you do a collab with my favourite fashion KZbinr, Alyssa Beltempo. If you don't know her , take a look at some of her videos. The two of you are just absolutely killing it and, althpugh she's in Canada, and you are in the UK, I am sure you would both find it really enjoyable and mutually inspiring. Right now she is off in Croatia but her videos from about 6 months ago are more representative of her general videos. I hope you read comments to your older videos, or this may not reach you, and I might ask again on your next video coming out. I only suggest a collab between the two of you because I hold you both in the highest regard.
