My inspiration to smart and chic dressing is Lydia. Except that I live in a tropical country so I mostly never wear jumpers and coats/blazers. But I get ideas from her on how to dress cohesive. I’m slowly getting my wardrobe downsized and focus on neutral colors.

I think wearing a t-shirt and a sweater, and then a coat, and then ADDING a sweater on top looks silly. You should only have one sweater on your body at a time.

first outfit is easy and a little dated. second outfit is so lovely, but that mirrored clutch would be so expensive, and shoulder-padded blouse would be tough to find too... guess that's what makes the second outfit so expensive-looking

I really like your takes. I agree that exact match of a colour feels a bit too "easy", too unoriginal. I would love to see you style the burgundy jacket instead of just the accessories as it is a bolder piece. I think the jacket looked "meh" in your outfit because it was too long with the skirt you were wearing. Also, I think pairing burgundy with lighter gray would have made it spark more
