It’s a shame for the match as a spectacle, but Scotland and Fiji both agreed to play outwith the test window so both missing players who play abroad. Admittedly Fiji missing a more though, hope the extra game helps the Fijian players going into the next games! I met Glasgow Warriors cult hero Niko Matawalu before the game, what a legend, lovely guy as well!

We saw it before with Wales against Fiji in the rugby world cup, if this had been two Scotland vs England you would not have seen two yellow cards for one team in the first 15mins, referees need to find more consistency and have the guts to make decisions on the field based on good instincts and in line with the spirit of the game.
