Hi Andre, this is a great video! Congratulations for making it, I am sure it took a lot of time, but it is great in that it conveys Nic's personality and Doub's mystique at the same time - what a nice combination. Given the specifics of sight nymphing, do you you think that a fast 9' #5 is best suited for this kind of fishing especially early season and from the bank?

@ Hi Andre, many thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one. It really makes sense what you are saying. I only said fast rod because it seems faster than the ones I normally fish, namely some green sticks, some fiberglass, etc. So in my mind I was thinking maybe something faster than what I have might make sense (like the one we see seems to be an Epic and I know some accomplished sight nymphing fishermen use faster ones like Orvis 3F etc). It s very personal I agree , but it is also interesting what works for the seasoned Doubs fishermen who live the river. That being said this is a very special river that makes you up your game at every level and that is just one more reason why I love it so much!

Wirklich ein klasse Video!! Schöne Aufnahmen in schönster Natur. Der Spruch mit dem Bier hat mich "verrissen" haha. Muss es dieses Jahr endlich auch mal in diese schöne Gegend schaffen, auch wenn es keinen Fisch geben sollte..... P.s Hat "Nic" ne 6er gefischt?

Wow... 9x TroutHunter tippet... Perhaps we could swap if you're interested in rare species of trout's in North America. Question if I may. Correct to refer to them as Zebra or Tiger trout. Thx

Hey Markus! Great to hear from you! I think Zebra Trout is correct! We call dem „Tigers“ sometimes, but Tiger Trout is a different species, which we don‘t have in Switzerland.
