I have just finished the Avene Tolerance extreme cream and I have used the Avene Aqua gel. Both products are excellent for dry sensitive skin. I would agree with Melissa about the size of the tube. That’s my only complaint that it doesn’t last very long 🥴 I was considering trying the one with the spf included next time. Also Cerave moisturiser is on my list to try

So, far I haven't come across a cream like this - maybe CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion 🤷🏻‍♀️ However, as of now, I really like The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (or the one with Beta Glucan - Gel), Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station and Neutrogena Hydro Boost :)

If you still have any further questions, I definitely would get in touch with them per E-mail as they always can help you out with more information. 😊 I would recommend doing a patch test and see how your skin reacts to the cream and if nothing happens, start using it! 🙂I would say that you have to use it at least for 2-3 weeks to see improvements! - it also feels very calming on the skin and had amazing results with this one, even better than I see with the Ordinary, which I'm currently using...

I am not a skincare expert, but that sounds not right as The Ordinary customer service recommended it for my dry combination skin. The only problem that I had was dry under-eye areas! It looked like this: AM The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Cream PM The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I did a video about it; I tested The Ordinary for a whole month which you can find right here with the pictures: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWSziWCGltuafNE I explained everything "step by step" on what you can do and how I did it, and the results are still amazing! I only changed the Magnesium Ascorbyl but not because it wasn't bad, but I just wanted to try some other products from the ordinary. 😀 The best thing that you can do is get in touch with the company! 😃 But so far the Ordinary works great.

I used it on its own as my only moisturiser in the AM and PM. I'm not sure if using a Night Cream after this is necessary. Either use it as your day time moisturiser or use it in the AM and PM and that's it😊

I'm not 100% sure how they do it but I've noticed that this cream has a very special opening where the cream comes only out if you press on the tube and for the rest it's very secure/closed so that no air gets into the tube.

I recommend using La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid instead; it is lighter texture and works well. You can use a toner along with it. My recommendation: Cleanser Paula's Choice Enriched Calming Toner (it says dry skin, but it works exceptionally well on oily dehydrated skin!) La Roche Posay Ultra Fluid There are, of course, many options, but that should work very well.

Hey! :) I haven't tried Avene Tolerance Extreme Cream so, I'm not sure how that one feels on the skin. I have a combination skin type not only can my skin get oily in the T-Zone but my skin can get overall a bit oilier during Summer whereas in Winter it becomes drier. I like to use Avene Skin Recovery cream during Winter. But during the warmer days, I either use no moisturiser at all but just a hydrating serum or I use La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid or Cerave's PM Moisturiser.

Can you please answer me, I have the Avene skin recovery, but before I bought it I saw from one of the vlogs it says that this Avene cream doesn't have an expiration date. So I think, wow okay it's safe. It's been a long time when I bought it, and when I wanted to use it again now, how funny I've realized now that I didn't realized before. that at the back of the package, there's the exp date 05/22. Related to this, so how? Is it true that Avene doesn't have an expiration date? But why is the exp written on the back of the package? Then if I use it, is it still safe? Because it's a shame there's still a lot remainder of Avene and you know the price is quite expensive so it's a shame to waste it

I do not know this. Still, over the years, regulations have changed and depending on the country, they need to put an exp date onto the tube/bottle. So that may be the reason.

No, it did not clog my pores, this cream has improved my skin so much!🥰 Also, if mineral oil would be that bad for the skin, it should've been band and taken out of all the products, since that's not what's happening, here is my understanding about mineral oil... Mineral Oil: The most present and beneficial ingredient in most moisturizers is mineral oil. Some dermatologists have recently questioned how safe mineral oil is for the skin - especially when the consumer exposes themselves to large amounts of UV light. Mineral oil protects the skin from the air - keeping from drying out by locking in moisture. This moisture loss is also called transepidermal water loss. For those that have sensitive skin, they may benefit from mineral oil as well - as there is no evidence to prove that mineral oil harms the skin. I hope this helps❤️

Hello, may I suggest that you get more information on damaged skin barrier. This is what happens whenever you use too much actives, harsh cleansers, bc of dry environnement, too much exfoliation etc... This is a big cause for acne. If the barrier is impaired by the environment or products you used, you can start experiencing problems on the skin (acne, whiteheads, oily skin, dry skin, eczema...) I

If you have oily skin, there is no need to use a moisturiser afterwards, but don't forget SPF during the day :) Use Vitamin C in the AM, followed by your sunscreen when being exposed to the sun, otherwise skip it and use Niacinamide in the PM :)

@@isaigoss8368. Hi 👋 the cream is quite good. Moisturised quite well and didn’t break me out even more. It gets absorbed well. Can’t really say whether it single handedly helped to repair my skin, because, I was using it along with some other creams. Maybe it’ll work better for you and others. Skin care is subjective. Won’t buy it again, though.

Which one should I use from between these two? 1) Avene cleanance mattifying emulsion 2) Avene cleanance matt mattifying emulsion I literally can't choose between these two and note any difference from reading their reviews, so im confused about which one should i buy for my skin

I'm actually going to start accutane programme (reticap oraltablets 20mg) Do you think this avene mattifying mosturizer will help my skin during accutane or do i need a heavier mosturizer? Note : my skin is naturally very oily already, but as far i know accutane dries up your skin and makes it flaky

Hm...that's difficult to say. This depends on how 'severe' the dryness may become. Some people just experience a bit of dryness, where a light moisturiser (NIOD Hydration Vaccine, La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid, etc.) is already enough. However, if it makes your skin much drier, it's best to go with something richer. I like Avene Skin Recovery Cream a lot! :)

@@roseodell6439 I do not always use a moisturizer at night, it depends on how my skin feels and what product I'm currently using. Normally I stick to the same moisturizer that I use in the morning😊but with the Avene, I mainly used it in the morning and it did enough for me for the whole day 😊

@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet thank you so much melissa...💕 because of you my skin become more behave and normal and here to report a the good news I have a combination, sensitive and eczema skin Now my skin become more healthy, more dewy hydrated, less red, less bumpy, the pimple are not resurface anymore and the best part is the scar are all most gone now...😉 I use the two product all the time, but the mist i only use it when, my eczema gotten worse or if i got allergic to something than i spray it. Less red and less itchy in no time.

Specially tight out of the shower.Thinking the riche may be good to use with retinol products?(i love cicalfate btw) Tried toleriane ultra and i think does not provide a lot of hidratation .has great ingredients though😊

Hmm..I just used the normal Avene Skin Recovery on its own and I loved it!!! - this is always my back-up moisturiser haha😅 I haven't used this one or the riche one with any other skincare products so I'm not sure which one would be best when using retinol products😕

Melissa Van Dijk ahhh thanks for this, but they still sell in China, which means they’re products and whatnot are being tested on animals. It’s cool to see they’re trying to fight it though, but I don’t get why they sell in China at all if they’re so against animal testing. I’ll still finish my glorious bottle of Avene cleansing lotion for super sensitive skin but after that I’m looking elsewhere until they’re fully cruelty free. Thanks for the comment and the heart!
