When you gua sha be careful to not apply a lot of pressure. Your lymphatic system is SO superficial (ex: when you scrape your knee lymph fluid comes out even before you start to bleed since it is directly below your skin). Currently learning manual lymphatic drainage technique in physical therapy school and all you need in terms of pressure is a light skin stretch and that is just with your hands. If you apply more pressure, you are compressing the lymphatics and just massaging tissue underneath

I developed acne on my arms and back some years ago and not much was helping. In doing some KZbin research, someone recommended Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap and PanOxyl... I used both at the same time out of sheer desperation and my skin has remained clear 4 years later. I still use Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap as my whole body soap (bc it's amazing) and have PanOxyl on hand for times when my skin is testing me lol
