Great reaction. This song is so catchy. If only you understood the Kannada language. A language rich in its vocabulary with the most Sanskrit words. Rakshit shetty is a fine actor a visualizer who throughly brings out every intrinsic, minute aspects of acting to the fore. He can be a more successful director coz he is innovative, comes out with new ideas and gives freshness to the script and sequences in a movie. This youngster is changing the face of Kannada Industry with his new concept.

Do not tell 'with most sanskrit words' Ms. Shweatha D.... Kannada is a Dravidian language with separate script, grammar and literary history of more than 1500years. It is one among classical languages of India. I agree it has influence of Sanskrit but that does not mean it is daughter of Sanskrit language. Change your way of looking at powerful southern languages. And I'm a Tamilian.

Nope, kannada belongs to a completely different language group and it doesn't need sanskrit to make it great. It great and rich by itself. It is true that it has borrowed some Sanskrit words during medieval times but the language is not related to sanskrit otherwise. Jai karnataka, Jai kannadambe

While kannada language has its own identity it has lots of influence from Sanskrit..in terms of the vocabulary, grammar, the way alphabets are organized, chandas and many more..such linguistic basics nobody can deny that. Take this song for example most words are of Sanskrit origin : anavaratha, ajnaatha, charitre, srishti, vedantha, mayajala.... the list goes on and on. There's nothing to hide, sanskrith is the mother of most Indian languages and tamil too has its own share of sanskrith influence.

And also, I mentioned that kannada borrowed some words from Sanskrit during medieval times (at that period languages borrowed words from one another, kannada has also borrowed words from Persian, Portuguese, etc. Afterall most of the languages grow like this). And what do you mean by "how the alphabets are arranged"?

The song to listed to was great, but I feel like you guys might have missed a lot of cinematography and symbolic elements. Like the lights, or the way the guy plays with fire, or the leap he makes from the real world to his “fantasy world” in the same way he’s promising to take us into his world. Or he sliding across the floor. The best part is that the song starts with everyone questioning whether he actually killed this Jonny guy, and ending with everyone singing how amazing our police hero is. The rowdys say the first Hands Up indicating they have control, but the last hands up is said by our main character. Its a perfectly narcissistic song meant to convince both the viewer a promise of entertainment and the rowdies that he’s the hero. Its really well done

Please do watch this movie!!! I'm sure u both will definitely like the cinematography and the way the story is told! Its a different kind of movie from Sandalwood ( Kannada Film Industry). Yes in other countries its difficult to catch Indian movies ( especially South Indian ones). I myself travelled for 4 hours in 2 trains to reach the city where KGF was released. Never had I experienced this much trouble nor spent so much money and time to watch a Kannada movie before!!! It was totally worth though. - a Kannadiga from Germany PS: Love u guyss and OSR!!
