How is that in any way a bad thing? Some of the greatest songs ever made have been made in the name of love. While this one isn't, it's still a masterpiece in every sense of the word. Sammet got the absolute best out of Lande, and in turn gave his own best. Lande's best 30 seconds to date are those first few lines that he delivers with the passion only a fallen star could understand. Add to that Paeth's solemn guitar work, the sweet guitar solo and the buildup between Lande and Sammet.. holy fukken shite, if it's this darn good who cares if it was a love ballad..?
