They also got rid of the second singer, although she wasn't that great anyway. And Floor is good, but can't even begin to hold a candle to Tarja. For me Floor is at best a last resort.

Annette was kicked out for ending up in hospital apparently, which is pretty pathetic if that's really the only reason. Maybe it was just an excuse. Marko left because he's tired of the corrupt industry and organisers taking more and more from the artists for themselves.

No offence to current Nightwish fans, but all these songs with Tarja have such an incredible feeling and emotion. The combination of her operatic vocals with heavy music gives an ethereal feeling. I hate to admit that those fans, who were saying that Nightwish had died in 2005 were right. Yes, the band still exists, but the music is not the same. It does not convey the same feelings, emotions, deepness. Glad that we have videos and albums to listen to and to appreciate that beautiful era.

This is probably too much information for KZbin, but i have high admiration for Nightwish. It was their music that kept me going approximately 15 years ago, when i was severely depressed and seriously considering taking my own life. Long story short, I'm still here, after overcoming my problems, but it's not sn understatement to say that, through their music, Nightwish saved my life.
