The drummer of Avantasia, Felix Bohnke, is also the drummer of Edguy. The 2nd singer is Jorn Lande from Norway. He is often featured in AvantasiA's albums like Michael Kiske and Bob Catley. The keyboarder is "MiRo" [Michael Rodenberg] , he is also keyboarder/additional keyboarder of Edguy plus he is doing the orchestral arrangements on albums of Edguy and AvantasiA....*

As Christian states Amanda used to do live backing vocals for Avantasia and then another singer from Exit Eden took the mantle for a few years - Marina La Torraca. Sascha Paeth is the guitarist there and let us just say that he has been involved in so many different projects (doing all sorts of stuff) - producing, recording, composing, mastering - for After Forever, early Epica, Kamelot, Avantasia, Angra, Rhapsody, Trillium, MaYaN and Beyond the Black. His base is in Gate Studio in Wolfsburg, Germany. That studio is featured in one of music videos by Beyond the Black.

Love this band and this one song really defines them and at Wacken in front of the faithful with the best sound engineers recording everything as usual. Check any band performance at Wacken and you will have stellar audio guaranteed! The dueling guitars the dueling vocals and the rest of the band harmonizing along is great. Nice reaction guys this one lite up the screen and the sound made the experience even better!!!

Whenever Tobi does Avantasia at 70k whoever is playing on that cruise does a huge jam with Tobi. A friend of mine uploaded it to IG one year. One of the many reasons I want to go on 70k Tonnes of Metal one year. Tobi is usually on the majority of the 70k cruise.
